Greetings all! Welcome to our revamped NOW Orchestra website. We have redesigned our site to be easier to navigate, more active, and more interesting, useful and relevant to everyone interested in the improvised music happening on Canada’s West Coast.
In Fall 2007, we are planning to celebrate our 30th anniversary of making great music. Our Fall season includes the following:
Come & Experience the Wonder of NOW
Every year, we bring you concerts of astonishing musicality. We produce three concerts yearly featuring the NOW Orchestra and special guests. We also present weekly concerts of Vancouver’s finest improvising musicians at the Jazz Cellar (3611 West Broadway). Our tickets are reasonably priced – in fact, students get in for $5!Upcoming Events
- February through June - NOW on Monday Nights at The Cellar titled "Sounds at the Cellar" (map). Tickets are five dollars and are available at the door only.
- NOW Orchestra Is Coming to Vancouver East Cultural Centre - April 11th, 2008. More information coming soon!
- November 8th, 2008 - Hear It NOW! 2008 featuring the NOW Orchestra with Jean Derome. More information on tickets and venue coming later this year.
